Tu B’Shevat Seder

A Seder in February?

Join us for a festive Tu B’Shevat Seder

as we celebrate the New Year of the Trees on

   Sunday, February 1, 2026

For everyone’s safety in this cold weather, the seder this year will be held virtually only.

Below you will find what you will need for the seder and links for Zoom and the Haggadah

Here’s what you’ll need for the Seder:

Dark grape juice

White grape juice

A fruit and/or nut with a shell or peel around it such as: orange, grapefruit, walnuts, almonds

A fruit that has a pit or at least had a pit at one time such as: avocado, olives, dates, cherries, apricots, peaches

A fruit that is eaten whole such as: raisins, figs, strawberries, blueberries

Choose one or two fruits/nuts in each category. These are examples, if you have a favorite fruit/nut that fits one of the categories please feel free to substitute. Since we will be singing about almond trees, you may want to include almonds as one of your nuts.

For a special treat at the end of the Seder, have some pie on hand that includes fruit-such as cherry, blueberry, or both!

Watch for your Etz Hayim emails for the link to join the seder
