ShulCloud, Etz Hayim’s community database, offers a portal with many helpful features for those affiliated with our community.

With ShulCloud, you’ll have access to:

Update your payment methods and personal information,
View any invoice statements and transaction history,
Make donations and tributes directly from your account,
View our affiliated community directory,
And more!
And because ShulCloud is a private, secure member portal, your basic information will autofill so that you no longer need to retype it each time you make a transaction.

If you’re registered with our office as affiliated with our congregational community your email is then on file and you will have received an initial password that you would use to log in (with the option to change the password to a personal one), in the future you log in to Shulcloud with the email address  that is on file with Etz Hayim and your password. If you’ve forgotten your password, you can easily reset it on that login screen. If you have additional issues logging in, contact our office at .

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What is ShulCloud?
A: ShulCloud is a privately hosted company located in New York. This system was created to directly serve synagogues and their congregants’ unique needs. It was designed by a synagogue and is used by many synagogues across the US. We use this as part of our effort to connect with our community – beyond the walls of a traditional congregation. 

Q: How do I log in to ShulCloud?
A: go to https://etzhayimhhb.shulcloud.com/ click “log in” in the upper right corner. If you have never logged into ShulCloud, you will need to set up a new password for yourself. The website will walk you through it.

Q: I forgot my password, what do I do?
A: On the log-in screen, there is a “forgot password” button. If you click this, ShulCloud will send you an email prompting you to set up a new password.

Q: Can I update my personal information on ShulCloud?
A: Yes. You will be able to edit all this information on the website when logged into your account. If you are logged in, it should say “Welcome [Your Name]” in the top right corner of the website. Click it, and then Click on “My Account” where you will be able to update any information.

Q: Who can see my information?
A: Etz Hayim’s ShulCloud system is only accessible to registered Etz Hayim community participants who are affiliated with our community. The only people who can see your information are you and the Etz Hayim administrative staff.

Q: Is my credit card on file secure?
A: Yes. Your personal and financial information is secure. Shulcloud does not store credit card information, they use SSL to encrypt all payment transactions.

Q: How do I check my account balance?
A: Log in to account> transactions> you will be able to see any account balance. Please keep in mind that payments made by cash, check, or to the office may take up to 1 week to appear on your account.

Q: Can I use Shulcloud to make donations or payments?
A: Yes! You will be able to make donations and payments directly from the website as well as delineate where you would like your funds to be applied.

Q: Can I change my credit card on file or add a credit card on file?
A: Yes, at any time, you can add an additional credit card to your saved payment methods. If you have recurring payments attributed to your current credit card and would like to reassign them to your new credit card, you will need to contact the temple office.

Q: Do I have to make all payments by credit card?
A: No. If you sign up for an event, you will always have the option to “bill to account” and pay by another method through the temple office.

Q: How do I pay by Credit Card on File?
A: If you have a credit card on file, when you get to the payment page, select “Pay by Credit Card” and then select your credit card on file.

Q: How do I pay by ACH/e-Check?
A: Log into your account and click on the My Payments Methods tile. Click Add New Payment Method ot the ACH gateway. Enter your bank account information and click Save.

Q: How do I pay by ACH/eCheck on File?
A: If you have an ACH/e-Check on file, when you get to the payment page, select “Pay by ACH/e-Check” and then select your bank account on file.

Q: What does “Bill to My Account” mean?
A: “Bill to My Account” is not the same as charging to your credit card on file. Billing to your account adds the transaction to your outstanding balances, which will then be billed to you on your statement.

Q: Can I see pending and upcoming scheduled payments under my account?
A: Yes, you can. Please allow a few days for any checks or in-office payments to be reflected on your account.

Q: How can non-affiliated individuals use ShulCloud to make one time payments?
A: Non-affiliated individuals can access a special page through www.etzhayimhhb.shulcloud.com to register and pay for events.

Q: Can I apply to be a affiliated congregant through your website?
A: While there are forms accessible in the joining our community area, all new registrations must be created and approved by our engagement committee and the office. Only after registering, will your email be available to log in along with a password.
