Seder at 8:00 PM in Ballroom

Please RSVP to the Etz Hayim Office by Wednesday, February 1st

For those of you who wish to join the seder virtually, below is all of the information you will need.

Here’s what you’ll need for the Seder:

Dark grape juice
White grape juice
A fruit and/or nut with a shell or peel around it such as: orange, grapefruit, walnuts, almonds
A fruit that has a pit or at least had a pit at one time such as: avocado, olives, dates, cherries, apricots, peaches
A fruit that is eaten whole such as: raisins, figs, strawberries, blueberries

Choose one or two fruits/nuts in each category. These are examples, if you have a favorite fruit/nut that fits one of the categories please feel free to substitute. Since we will be singing about almond trees, you may want to include almonds as one of your nuts.

For a special treat at the end of the Seder, have some pie on hand that includes fruit-such as cherry, blueberry, or both!

We suggest that you prepare a dish containing the three varieties of fruits in advance of the Seder along with your kiddush cup and the wine/grape juice. Although we may share on the screen our Tu Bishvat Haggadah, the committee thought you might want to print and have your own copy handy.
