The Legends of the Exodus That Didn’t Make It into the Haggadah
MONDAY, MARCH 28 AT 8 PM WITH RABBI WISE
The core of the Exodus storytelling, or Maggid, at the Seder is Midrash. They are classic examples of added layers of legend, adding color to the “My Father was a Wandering Aramean” verses. But of course, we have many more midrashim than those that appear in the traditional Haggadah. Using The Feast of Freedom Haggadah by the Rabbinical Assembly, we will explore some of the legends and interpretations that didn’t make it into the Maxwell House and other Haggadot.
In person in the ballroom and via Rabbi Wise’s Zoom
