Naikan can help us expand our circle of chesed, compassion. Drawing on Eastern spiritual and psychological traditions, Naikan is a structured method for intensely meditating on our lives, our interconnections, and our missteps by answering three simple questions.
Through Naikan we develop a natural and profound sense of gratitude for blessings bestowed upon us by others, blessings that were always there but went unnoticed.
