Shabbat Shelah-Lekha 5781

There’s lots of agita in the Torah portions of Sefer Bemidbar, and Parshat Shelah-Lekha is no exception. The scouting mission goes awry, and the adult Israelite population is doomed to wander in the wilderness until they die out. Still, there’s plenty of music connected to the Torah reading. The variety of artists is about as diverse as the parties in the new Israeli government! See you if can figure out why I thought of these songs:

Celebrating Pride Month with Frankie

The Carly Who Loved Me

Get the name of the city and band right!

The Band opens for Dylan

The recent birthday boy himself

The world’s most hated band’s first hit

Join us for havdalah on Zoom Saturday evening at 9:10 PM as we uncover the connections!

Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom, and as always, good health,

Rabbi David Wise
