If last week’s Torah reading reminded us of Yom Kippur, then this one should have us thinking about the other holidays on our calendar. After all, we read a good chunk of Parshat Emor on the first days of Sukkot and the second day of Pesah. And it includes the commandment to count the Omer, which we have done faithfully for 32 days and counting so far! Let’s see if you can figure out the connection between the Torah portion and these songs:
Candle lighting: 7:32 PM
Torah Reading: Leviticus 21:1-24:23
Triennial: Leviticus 22:17-23:15
Haftarah: Ezekiel 44:15-31
