Shabbat Ekev 5780

Dear Friends,

I hope this week’s message of Torah finds you staying well. If you are struggling the longer this pandemic keeps us away from our normal shul routine, you are not alone. And if this week’s storm caused you damage or inconvenience, I hope that you can recover whatever you may have lost. It certainly felt like yet another gut-punch that we didn’t need.

In this week’s dvar-Torah, I share some of my own struggles, namely with prayer during this extended period of physical distance.

For some musical inspiration this week, check out a video clip that captures the experience of every mom working from home during the pandemic.

This week we celebrated Tu B’Av, the day on the Jewish calendar that celebrates love. Here are a few songs that remind me of how much we need Tu B’Av!

Wishing you a Shabbat Shalom, and as always good health
