Passing of Bernice Schmais z’l
We are saddened by the passing of Bernice Schmais, mother of our congregant Naomi Horowitz.
The funeral will be held tomorrow, Sunday, August 13, at 1:30 pm, graveside, at New Montefiore Cemetery in West Babylon.
Shiva will be observed at the Horowitz home, 221-23 Hartland Ave, Hollis Hills, Sunday after the funeral through Thursday.
There will be an evening minyan at the Horowitz home at 8:15 pm on Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday evenings. The phone number at the home is 718-740-6174.
