The weather is getting cooler, and Sisterhood is heating up. During the month of November we are having our very special Torah Fund Brunch, on November 13th at 10 am, honoring our friend Carol Lieber. Please plan to join us.
Looking forward, this year on December 11th at 11 am we are having a pre-Chanukah Gift Shop bazaar and party. For the bazaar, our own gift shop will be open, plus there will be vendors, with reasonably priced and beautiful items for you to buy for yourself and to give as gifts. For the party, we will have food and fun and a grab bag, so that everyone goes home with their first Chanukah present.
In 2017 we will really be moving. The Sisterhood Shabbat is definitely Saturday February 4th and you are invited to take a part, in Hebrew or English. On Sunday March 5th at 10 am, we have the Purim Basket creation and breakfast. Purim Baskets are given out on Saturday evening March 11th, after the Megillah reading. Our Women’s Seder date is still to be set, and you will be notified. Look for news about our April evening event, a May event with Men’s Club, and our June closing, June 14th at 8 pm. Please mark your calendar and don’t miss any of the fun.
